Although these FPV Googles look a little clumsy they are actually quite light being only 375 grams and that’s with a screen in place plus the battery of course. The battery is built into the googles and its a powerful battery too. It’s a 7.4V/1200mAh battery which should offer the wearer a couple of hours racing around.
At 10-22V wide range recharging voltage range, it’s typical recharging voltage is 12V
The Charger is 12V,2A, DC 2.5mm. You can also use a 2S (7.4 V) or a 3S(11.1V) battery to have as a back-up power source in order to give you a longer flight time if you want it.
Part of the reason why the Goggles appear on the bulky side is down to the fact that there is a sizable 5″ LCD Screen
tucked away at the front of the goggles this is similar to many of the latest mobile phones, but with these goggles there is no need to use your smartphone which is good because no one likes to answer a call as they scorch around a racing circuit. The screen resolution is 800 x 480 giving no blurring once the images are enlarged by the lens, so together with the screen brightness being at 600cd/m2 it is also backlit with LED for outdoor First Person Viewing.
As you look down to the top of the headset you will find all the buttons, SD Card Slot (but you must supply your own sd card), then all the remaing setting are all laid out along the top so you will soon get to know where they are by feel so you never really need to take the googles off to operate any of them to change a setting.

PROS – Its frankly amazing at how quickly the cost of the FPV devices have dropped in price, it all helps to make flying your drone using FPV more affordable for everyone, it means you can get in the air with both a reasonably priced drone with a camera and FPV Goggles such as these for less than $300. Okay they may not be the most attractive, but who cares once you are in the zone, right? It is true that you only get what you pay for
