As to the question is it better, then I would have to say Yes, Of course it is, the addition or the Adjustable Aperture 20MP 1″ CMOS Sensor plus the Obstical avoidance sensors just make a good drone a great drone to own.
Of course it can fly for a little longer but its hardly noticable at 4 minutes longer but its still an imporvement which can only be good. It does everything that the first version does but with the tweaks here and there. The biggest news though has to be the improved 4K Camera and the 1″ Sensor which was always going to follow the Phantom 4 Pro.
When you see them both side by side the mavic 2 version just looks slimmer and a neater package all around.
You can still get the Mavic Pro for a little less or you can get it along with a good size bundle of gear to go with it.
